Welcome to the Website of Paul Dell Aquila

Paul Dell Aquila is a graduate assistant theory instructor and doctoral student at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. From 2003 to 2013, Dell Aquila was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Louisville where he taught graduate and undergraduate music courses including Music Theory III, Music Theory IV, Music Analysis, 16th-Century Counterpoint (Renaissance Vocal Polyphony), 18th-Century Counterpoint (Baroque Polyphony), Graduate Music Theory Review, Audio Production, and the Art of Popular Song. In addition to teaching classical music theory at the university level, Paul also gives private music lessons on the guitar in both classical and popular styles. He is a certified audio engineer and an Avid certified Pro Tools computer music software operator. Paul performs regularly with his wife Grace in an acoustic duo called Another Colour.
